We are trying to book and reserve our train tickets on the website and have put all our details in but are unable to actually book anything. Not sure what the issue is or how to fix it, can anyone give us any tips please?

It is saying that the shipping won’t arrive in time eventhough we have a month and the maximum shipping time is 10 days.

Pleas specify which train(s) you are trying to book: origin, destination, date and departure time.

10days is not the maximum shipping time it´s the minimum that Interrail needs :)

as @rvdborgt  already ask please say which routes, which day?  As we may can show you how to reserve the train easier and cheaper :)

Our first train is from Barcelona to Lyon on the 15th July at 8:15am

Barcelona-Sants to Lyon Part Dieu 8:15-13:20 on the 15th July 2022: call SNCF (see above)

Lyon Part Dieu - Amsterdam Centraal 8:29-14:44 on the 18th July 2022: call SNCF. You can save money  (20€) by using the normal intercity between Brussels and Amsterdam: no reservation required or possible, Brussels dep. 12:45, arr. Amsterdam 15:35.

Amsterdam Centraal - Berlin Ostbahnhof 7:00 - 14:25 on the 22nd July 2022: Reservation is optional but wise. Book via DB, use option "Seat only”.

Berlin Ostbahnhof - Prague Hlavni Nadrazi 5:56 - 10:27 on the 25th July 2022: Reservation is optional but wise. Book via CD (CZK 76 = ~3€). Look for the connection and then click "I want a reservation only”. Note that the train to Prague starts in Berlin Hbf. Best is to check the DB website or DB Navigator app (and certainly not the rail planner app!) for connecting trains from Ostbahnhof.

Prague Hlavni Nadrazi - Ljubljana 7:53 - 19:40 on the 28th July 2022: reservation is optional and only possible in the 1st and the last train. Book via ÖBB with option "Seat only”.

Ljubljana - Split 8:30 - 21:30 on the 31st July 2022: first train has optional reservation; book at ticket office in Ljubljana if you want one. 2nd train (from Zagreb) has mandatory reservation, book on arrival in Zagreb (~1€ at the ticket office).

Milano Lambrate - Firenze S.M.N 8:54 - 11:52 on the 10 th August 2022: the first train is a regional train cannot be reserved; the train from Milano Rogoredo at 9:40 has mandatory reservations (10€) and is best booked via ÖBB. In this case, do NOT use "Seat only” but add the "interrail / Eurail” discount to each person and then look for normal tickets.

Lyon Part Dieu - Amsterdam our route change is originally in Brussels but we don’t mind changing based on whatever is easier. Thank you so much for your help :)

IF you find to BRU is full-then quite often there are still seats till LILle (EUrope)-as 1 set gets coupled off there-walk over to Flandres station, take train to Antwerpen (ev hour-NO res at all)-admire the railways cathedral as this stop is known then go to lowest level and use Yellow/blue BeNeLux train (comes from BRussel) to AMS.

All trains that seewulf notes with seat only are optional.

Just this very morning (15/6, not yet main holiday time) I used this 7.00 from AMS IN NL and it had plenty of empty seats, unREServed, a very friendly set of conductors pointing it all out and heaps of very sleepy passholders trying to get more sleep. However, on your date there are again big works along this line (Rheine-Osnabrück) and this means a quite big detour-maybe also altered timings-check again a few days before!

Note that here on the continent we do not do this silly UK method of ´train x.ab from Y-all trains have nrs. and this is used as way to distinguish them from others.

The changed timings are already in the planners.
