We are currently traveling with an Interrail pass. We’d like to travel on Aug 3rd, 16:42 from Frankfurt Flughafen Fernbf to Utrecht Centraal (arrival 19:59). I booked seat reservations through the OBB-website (€12 for 2 adults + 2 kids for free).

Now, I wanted to add this journey in the Railplanner app (to create a QR-code ticket) but can’t find it there.

When I go to the Interrail website, I do see the journey. I thought I could probably add this journey (and create a ticket because I’m logged in). Is that even possible through the website?


Furthermore, it says on the website that I need to make seat reservations for €32 euro (€6pp + €8 booking fee). But we don’t need that because we already have seat reservations…. 
Underneath, there’s also another notification saying ‘Additional supplement required’ (boarding or in the train, but it doesn’t say how much?).

What should I do?

Geen zorgen, de rail planner app is niet de meest betrouwbare. Die krijgt maar af en toe een update en durft foute informatie tonen.

Op www.bahn.com staat deze trein normaal aangekondigd. Bij twijfel, vertrouw je enkel op de informatie die je krijgt van de treinmaatschappij die de trein in kwestie doet rijden (hier Deutsche Bahn).

Je hebt je reserveringen, prima. Je hoeft niets extra te betalen.

Je kunt deze trein manueel toevoegen in de app om de qr code te kunnen aanmaken.

De website en app zijn niet verbonden met elkaar. Je kunt dus enkel in de app treinen toevoegen.

Geniet van je reis.

BTW: enkel een qr-code aanmaken als je heel zeker bent dat je die trein nemen zult. Dit hoef je maar enkele minuten voor je effectieve vertrek met de trein in kwestie te doen. Er is geen voordeel om dit zover op voorhand te doen, je kunt enkel reisdagen kwijtraken door onvoorziene omstandigheden;
