Hi, trying to book from Barcelona to Montpellier. Done everything right on the app but it falls over when paying by credit card—also tries PayPal. This also occurred in France and ended up going to the train station. But Barcelona station cannot help—-they just say go on line. I want to leave this Sunday. Also we have many trips across Europe and I would like to use the app and website rather than going to the station all the time.. The message says—-something went wrong please refresh—/but this did not work. Cheers jeff

In Spain you can't book this train at the train station anymore. RENFE decided not to sell tickets/reservations for it.
You can call SNCF though. Press #85 for English, no booking fees, they'll send the reservation by email.
Alternatively, you can travel by reservation-free trains (via Portbou).
By the way, this problem sounds like you should contact your bank or credit card provider and ask them why your payments fail.
