Why is there a difference between the Interrail app and site? I want to take a train from krakow to Budapest, but the app shows: reservation needed. If I go to the interrail site it shows: you are ready to board for the same train..

Is a reservation needed for this trip?

Neither are really reliable (unfortunately)… I'd suggest using a good planner like bahn.com or DB Navigator app.

Reservations on the daytime train are mandatory for the Polish leg, then they're optional. Either you buy :

- Krakow - Chalupki on intercity.pl for 1 PLN (0.20€)

- Krakow - Budapest on cd.cz for 74 CZK (3€)
