It says on the app the train from Zagreb to ljubliana needs a seat reservation that is free how does that work? I also just got a train from bled to Zagreb that went through ljubliana that had no reservation. So I'm confused as to whether or not I need to buy a ticket.

Yeah, no reservation should be needed but if you get one you will have to pay 3€ (?).
