German station transfer

We are travelling from Prague to Paris tomorrow.

We arrive on RE 3367 to Teltow at 11:53.

We catch the RE 29655 out of Bingen (Rhein) Hbf at 12:43.

My ticket tells me to use public transit to get between stations , but when I enter Teltow and Bingen (Rhine) into Google earth it tells me public transport will take like 7 hours.

What am I missing?

Thanks I. Advance!

Don’t panic, but:

Google maps is right. It’s a bug in the planner.

Rely on www.bahn.com for route planning.

Which trains did you reserve or how does your planning look?

It’ll be a long travel day but it is doable.

  • EC Praha hl.n. - Dresden Hbf 06:25 - 08:52
  • IC Dresden Hbf - Leipzig Hbf 09:23 - 10:30
  • ICE Leipzig Hbf - Karlsruhe Hbf 10:48 - 15:09
  • RE Karlsruhe Hbf - Appenweier 15:39 - 16:20
  • RB Appenweier - Strasbourg 16:41 - 17:06
  • TGV Strasbourg - Paris-Est 17:19 - 19:05 20€

Or more relaxed (a margin in Strasbourg if German trains are delayed) :

  • same itinerary up to Karlsruhe
  • trains every 30 min between Karlsruhe - Appenweier - Strasbourg
  • TGV Strasbourg - Paris-Est 18:19 - 20:12 10€

As said, did you book a specific train ?
