Hi,

I have read to other topic with the same question from two years ago, but was curious of there is something improved in the last years. I want to travel from Milano Centrale to Frankfurt Hbf, see screenshot below for the details. Raileurope don't show any option to book the train from Milan to Zürich. What is the best way to book that specific train?

If you take a regional train from Milan to Chiasso, you can then travel with the EC from Chiasso to Zurich without reservation.

Otherwise look for each train separately:

- Rail Europe: 13€ Milan - Zurich or 10€ Milan - Chiasso (reservations aren't required afterwards, stay on the same seats)

- for the ICE 3€ through ÖBB or 5.20€ through DB incl. seat selection

Hi @AnnaB, thanks. I will probably go for that option :).

Hi @thibcabe thanks for your answer as well. Unfortunately it doesn't show any trains as I tried that before or I did something wrong.

Use ÖBB then (add Interrail/Eurail as a discount and select one-way tickets). The EC is pretty full -> 1 unit from Milan.

Or take the option Anna mentioned. :)
