I have a seat reservation on the DB website. Do I need to add it to my interrail pass?

Hi,

I have a seat reservation for my Amsterdam - Berlin train. I made the reservation on the DB website and they gave me a proof of payment (ticket with the seat location). Do you know if I have to add it to my interrail pass or with the proof of payment is enough?

Thank u

Reservations are entirely separate from the pass and don't need to be added anywhere. You don't need to show it to the ticket inspector because it is an optional reservation.

You MAY have to show it to an ignorant (probably also newbee passholder) to chase her from your allocated seat, if you board early and the system has not yet been activated to show all REServations-or if it is broke again. The conductor will not have the least of interest.
