Hello everyone,

I am currently looking to book different train rides for my trip, and was able to make reservations for many of them. However, certain rides were “Included” in the Eurail pass. I am wondering how I can retrieve a ticket for these “Included” rides as I do not want to end up without a train to go to my next destination.

Moreover, I read on the website that the pass offered discounts on different ferries and activities. Since I do not want to miss out on these discounts, I was wondering how it would be possible to book ferries right now and benefit from the discount.

Thank you for taking the time to answer me.

The pass is your ticket. Before boarding you add the train you'd like to take (whether it requires a reservation or not) to the app. You then get a QR-code which is your ticket

The discounts are usually listed on eurail.com on the country pages. You can ask here too with a more precise question.

Exception: boats on Lake Thun and Brienz (Switzerland) are fully included. You add them to the pass like a train

For booking with a discount, check this website:

To book reservations, check this thread:

Most trains though cannot be booked, so it depends what trains you're using.

If you have questions about a specific train, then please mention route, date and departure time.
