hello!

We would do a interrail family from Rome (Italy) to Sweden, with stops in Munich, Copenaghen, Malmo, Stockholm, and back. We would use a night train from Rome to Munich, and from Munich to Copenhaghen.

But I can’t unterstand if night trains costs are included in Interrail family ticket or not, (in this case the amount of the difference to pay), and how we can book reservations, having children..

Thank you very much!

There is no night train from Munich to Copenhagen.

With the pass you only pay the accommodation (seats, couchettes, sleepers).

Passholder reservations on Nightjet services have various prices : it depends on how busy the date is. There’s no definite answer so please check on nightjet.com → add Interrail as a discount.

Night trains tend to be expensive but if you book early it’s not that bad.

Have a look at this general guide too : https://www.seat61.com/interrail-and-eurail-reservations.htm
