Interrail not valid on ICE NL->DE 17 June - 18 August 6:00-16:00

According to NS International Interrail is not valid anymore (even with seat reservation) on the ICE from the Netherlands towards Germany between 6:00 and 16:00, during the summer months (17 June - 18 August). 🤐

 

During the period from 17 June to 18 August 2023, Eurail and Interrail travellers cannot use the ICE International trains towards Germany with departure times between 6am - 4pm from a station in the Netherlands. Even with a separate seat reservation, travel on these trains is not allowed for Eurail and Interrail travellers during the specified period.

I can recommend making the booking for these trains with the ÖBB app.
 

It is, according to me, the cheapest, fastest and most user-friendly option. I was surprised and assumed the train was full when bahn.com didn't allow me to make a seat only reservation.
