I have a 10 min layover. Will I be able to make the next train on time?
Probably yes-but there never ever is a garantee. IN fact 2-min changes (no one here uses this NAFTA Ly-ov, many will not even understand it) are very common on some networks-thats usually same platform-opposite. If a planner presents it like that to you, its reliable enough.
The likely used changes/connections are most often announced-in the local lingo and /or on screens in the trains, so you can prepare. Some planners of railways concerned can also announce it-and even real time delays/last min. changes
(in fact I myself made a change here planned to take 3 mins-on other pltf-as train 1 was delayed by 4 mins I still made it very last min. just before doors closed in train 2)

That depends on what station and trains you are taking and how comfortable you are with finding your way around train stations.
