So, the 3rd of july i’m taking a train directly from Berlin to Gdańsk in Poland. I found the tickets on the Eurail app, but whenever i want to buy the tickets, i have to type in the name of my accommodation/hotel name/ hostel name and it also says that it’s a paper ticket. Does that mean that they are shipping the tickets or do i get the tickets by email and then i have to print them myself??

It's a bad idea to order such reservations via the post. Also very expensive: +€2 booking fee, +€9 postage fee, for a €4 reservation.

The best is to go to a ticket office that can do international reservations. Doesn't need to be in Berlin or in Germany. You can also call DB and then collect the reservation from a DB ticket machine when you get to Germany.
