Hi, I want to travel from Amsterdam to Basel with Night Jet 403 / NJ403 starting on the evening of the 17th of July. It however seems at oebb.at that there are no tickets for the sleeper part of the train, only the regular seated IC part of the train.

The same seems to be the case for every day around the same week. This makes me wonder: is there something wrong with my search or is this really the case? If it is correct, do you have any feeling if it will likely show up seats closer to departure due to cancellations, or should I look for other alternatives?

Thanks,

As sleeper and couchettes are popular and July is the high season with many Dutch people traveling to the Swiss mountain, I suppose they are really fully booked. You still might take a seat for the night, there no reservation is needed.

The Nightjet sleeper and couchette cars are full for the next weeks. You can only use the seat cars that run as IC with optional reservation.
