Hi,i have a problem with the seat reservations 

I want to buy a seat from Wien Miedling to Venezia Mestre.If there are no seats left,can I still get on the train without a seat or there is no option to get on the train?

It looks like booking hasn't opened yet, since I can't find any accommodation on any date in July. Maybe that's because of the detour because of the engineering works. You could ask ÖBB when they think booking will be opened. They react quite fast via their social media.
