Oslo-bergen railway problem. Rail works - alternative route with bus included?

Hi everyone! I wanted to reserve a seat on the train from Oslo to Bergen on the 28th July but the website couldn't find anymore the train I checked 2 weeks ago. So I checked on the Norwegian railway website and I found out that there will be work on the line on those days. They suggest to take the train from Oslo to Voss and then take a bus. Is the bus ride covered by the pass? It's going to be expensive, around 100 euros, so I really would like to know. Thank you for you help

  • The best is to call Entur in Norway. They will know and if you need any reservations in Norway they fix that.
  • Entur call center: +47 61 27 90 88 (press 9 for services in english).

Opening hours:

Monday to Friday: 07:00 - 23:00

Saturday: 08:00 - 21:00

Sunday: 08:00 - 23:00

Opening hours during bank holidays are shorter.

Buses that run as rail-replacement-and marked as such, are usually included. In fact most often there are not any checks at all on them-its likely a matter of ´follow the crowd´-you´l not be the only 1.

Yes, NO is very expensive-for about everything. Also note Bwrgenis really the end of the line-if on rails have to come back same way.
