Probable the passes as such not-but the RES on the direct Thalys. The nr of these trains is severely cut a few weeks due to sets needing maintenance-but both staff and parts not available-seems there is war going on in steelworks somewhere. Also several hi-uncles and beezness people were inconvienced by that.

use local trains-Antwerpen (admire its cathedral like station) to Lille-and now you have to RES-hourly TGV train -mostly from other station nearby-to Paris-or maybe even onward into FR-bypass Paris. YOu do not save time in train-but save money-maybe till 25€ in lesser cost. You could even do it all the way on locals-but that will take a lot longer in time.

@mcadv okay, so the train is sold out all day?

@mcadv a little confused by your response, but really appreciate the help! Are the trains for tomorrow all sold out?? Or are you just giving an alternate option

When do you need to be where tomorrow? With that information it is easier to give advice.

@AnnaB we arrive in Amsterdam at 1am from the plane and want to get on the soonest train possible. So whichever train is still available at the earliest on July 14th

There is no pass availability on any direct Amsterdam - Paris train tomorrow.

The alternative is to use IC/Regional trains from Amsterdam - Lille and domestic french TGV Lille - Paris.

The trains to Lille do not require reservation and the connection runs hourly from 06.28 am, changing in Antwerp and Kortrijk to Lille Flanders. Journey time approx 4h20min

TGV from Lille Flanders runs mostly hourly taking a little over 1 hour. These require reservations, passholder fare is €10 until quota runs out, then is €20 until train is 100% full. Looking at tomorrow, the majority still have €10 passholder fare available.

Earliest you can do is 06.28 from Amsterdam Centraal (06.43 from Schiphol Airport) changing at Antwerp and Kortrijk to Lille Flanders for 10.51

Next TGV from Lille Flanders is at 11.12 to Paris Nord arriving at 12.14.

As I said Amsterdam - Lille, no reservations needed.

Lille - Paris, either online at https://travel.b-europe.com/Eurail-GE/en/booking-tgv#TravelWish

pass cover number needed

or wait and book at Lille station ticket office or ticket machines once arrived.
