Hello, I am planning to travel by train ICE 9568 Frankfurt HBF - Paris Set on 18 July 2024.

On the interrail website it says that the sale of reservations starts up to 90 days in advance and costs from 19€, when I looked on DB (bahn.de) the reservation for this train comes out here at 4,90€. So can I buy this ticket and will it be enough if I have an Interrail ticket or should I wait and buy 90 days in advance for 19€, or is there somewhere else to buy a ticket for this train?

The pass reservation on this train is €18 and can be booked on raileurope.com (desktop website only).

The 90-day period mentioned on the Interrail website is incorrect and they know that.

The DB website sells reservations, but these are only valid together with a regular flexible ticket. There's been a report from someone who then had to buy a new pass reservation for the on-board price of €35.
