Hey everyone,

we (2 adults and 1 child 8 years) are planing a journey through italy.

Our plan is to take a night train from Lecce to Milano (ICN 35022) on 21st of October.

In the booking tool of interrail there are only the options of a 2nd class reservation or cuccetta c4 comfort for 1 passenger for eur 291. On the page of trenitalia we have much more options and we want to book a cuccetta for us 3 (is possible on this page).

What is the solution? How can we get our favorite solution?

Does anyone has experiences with trenitalia.com and can help me out?

Any help is much apreciated.

Best regards,

I'm not sure, but normally the tickets for InterCityNotte trains aren't cheaper than a Interrail-Reservation. So I recomend to buy the Train without Interrail on the website of Trenitalia.

Correct me anyone if I'm wrong

I guess you are right. Thank you for your recommendation.

How stupid it sounds indeed the public saver fares (here is the reservation included) for Nighttrains in Italy are often cheaper as the Reservation for Railpassholders like Interrail/Eurail :/

Italy (Trenitalia) started to make it more and more complicated to use Railpasses like SNCF do it in France
