It seems to be impossible to make reservations for Scotrail trains. Glasgow-Oban and Inverness-Edinburgh through ACP Rail services and GWR both are not possible. From their website It seems that Scotrail automatically makes a reservation if you buy a ticket in advance. If that is the case the number of Interrail reservations will be very limited if any.Solutions?

If you are being offered no reservations or blank reservations then the train is not reservable. You can board and take any seat as will all other passengers.
