Hi. I’ve seen on here that its not possible to reserve seats online for Zagreb - Split trains. Would anyone who’s been interrailing in Croatia recommend booking reservations on the day, or taking an alternate route? We are travelling in May. Thank you!

"in May” is too vague. It may be busy on Fridays and Sundays and around public holidays.
You can still check availability online by the way on https://www.hzpp.hr/
As long as you can also buy normal tickets, there is availability.
