Seat reservation Hamburg Kolding

Hello,

I want to take the train from Hamburg to Kolding tomorrow at 12:53 at IC 394.

When I add the ticket to “my trip”, they say that there is no reservation necessary. But when I look at the reservation plattform from interrail, they say that seat reservations are necessary.

So what is right? Is the reservation actually included or not?

Thanks,

Enni

During the summer there is a mandatory reservation on the IC trains between Germany and Denmark.

And ´summer´ in this area has started yesterday.

You can do without by using local DB-RE till Flensburg and change there. But that will be overcrowded due to the cheap 9€ ticket in DE

Cheapest option I know to book this reservation online is via DSB (30 DKK, ~4€).
