Hello ! I am trying to book a train from Sofia to Bucharest in September but the Interrail site says the seat reservations are unavailable. Do these reservations need to be booked on a separate website or in person at the station in Sofia?
Also, if anybody has taken this train before do you have any advice on how much this reservation might cost?

You can do this at Sofia. It’s quite cheap only the equivalent of a few euros.
It is not a train as such-but 1 or 2 cars shunted from train 1to2to3 and making quite a detour in RO due to the direct line being broke. BG uses the BGL=lev and these are 50% of 1€-exactly same as old DEM.
