HI. I thought we couldn’t reserve trains but I managed ot get prices and put traveller information in for Santander-Madrid and also Madrid-Barcelone
It all goes well until the payment part where it then says - this connection is no longer available. Is something new going on and is something broken?

It is very new that you're able to book Spanish trains - since last Friday !
Unfortunately not all trains are shown and there are a few bugs…
Check if there are regular tickets available on renfe.com. If that's the case, you should be able to obtain seat reservations.

Try booking one train at a time. Someone else also had this problem and booking only one train at a time worked.
