I’m once again adventures enough to go on a Vienna - Nürnberg - Stuttgart - Paris trip and after causing quite some confusion last time around I would like to ask in advance:

What exactly am I supposed to do if my train connection between Vienna to Stuttgart is getting delayed and I miss the TGV to Paris I have a reserved seat?

The DB Servicecenter in Nürnberg bluntly refused to help me at all, while the DB Servicecenter in Stuttgart rebooked my TGV reservation to the next TGV to Paris without any issues at all. Which left me both happy and quite confused.
