I've bougth an Interail Pass in 1st class, I decided to not take a seat reservation if it's not needed.
If the train is not full, can I take available place in 1st class room without problem since I have a 1st class pass ?
I hope my question is clear !

If seat reservations are optional, you can travel without a reservation on a free seat, or you can stand if there are no seats, so the answer to your question is "yes".
With a 1st class pass you can travel in both 1st and 2nd class.
