Is the railway from Beograd to Budapest still under construction ?

If it is, how can I go from Beograd to Budapest using my Interrail pass, and not spending lots of money on busses ?

Hi, it is still under construction.

If you’d like to go, you will need to go by bus (at least part of the route). Unfortunately.

Shortest bus route would be train to Szeged, bus to Subotica, train from Subotica with a change at Novi Sad. Slow and doesn’t save a lot of money (not recommended).
