I am trying to book the train from Stockholm to Narvik which leaves around 18:10 pm.
we are 4 passengers and would like to book the own second class compartment. However we are getting assigned 1 compartment for the 4 passengers when the second class has only 3 beds ? How to book to compartments instead? If we book first for 2 people and then again for another 2 , how can we be sure to be assigned compartments near to each other ?

When I do a test booking for 4 people and select "Private sleeping compartment 2nd class”, then I'm assigned 6 "seat” numbers, which means 2 compartments, since the sleeping compartments are for a maximum of 3 people:
So what makes you think you only get one compartment?
