Hi,

We are from Amsterdam and want to catch a nighttrain (we already booked) that leaves at 17:09 from Munchen at the 23rd of april. Interrail says it is not required but recommended to book seat reservations on the trajectory from Amsterdam to Munchen. When try to book this trajectory, it shows that it cannot be booked anymore.

 

 

Based on the other articles in this community, I tried to book via the OBB website. But when I try to pay, it also says:

 

(I tried to book from Amsterdam to Frankfurt here, but when I try to book from Amsterdam to Munchen it shows the same).  Do you know if there is a big chance we can still enter this train by just showing up or do you have any other recommendations? Unfortunately, there are no earlier trains available and this is the last option to be able to catch the nighttrain.

Er is geen nachttrein om 17:09 van München naar Frankfurt of Amsterdam. Ook niet in de andere richting. Dus om welke trein(en) gaat het precies?

De nachttrein gaat naar Rome en hij gaat om 17:10 zie ik. Hij zou eerst 3 uur later gaan, maar dat is een paar dagen terug veranderd.

Op Amsterdam-Mannheim zijn er geen zitplaatsen meer. In de details zie je dat het probleem vanaf Keulen bestaat:

(Dit alles in 2e klas. Alhoewel het in 1e klas niet beter lijkt.)

Je kunt op zich wel meereizen maar je zult een beetje stoelendans meten spelen. Reserveer in ieder geval de 2e trein (ICE 595).

In ICE 255 ga je het beste naar rijtuig 37, waar de plaatsen 11 t/m 37 zeer waarschijnlijk ongereserveerd zullen zijn:

Zorg dat je op tijd bij de trein bent. In Amsterdam heb je dan wel kans om te kunnen zitten.

heel erg bedankt rvdborgt! Dit was precies het type informatie waar ik naar op zoek was over die drukte maar ik kon het zelf niet vinden. Ik heb meteen de reserveringen naar Keulen geboekt
