Hi,

We have seat reservations on a train from Odense to Copenhagen. This trip will be part of a travel day that will end in Stockholm. Now we have changed our travel plan and will stay in Malmö a few days before continuing to Stockholm. We will therefore not use our interrail pass for the short trip between Odense and Malmö. My question is: Could we still use our seat reservations on the Odense - Copenhagen leg? Or are the seat reservations only valid during a travel day in combination with the interrail pass?

Yeah, that’s perfectly possible. It works +/- the same as in Germany and Austria. Seat reservations are optional on domestic long distance trains in Denmark. It can be used with any sort of valid ticket. Perfectly okay to recycle your seat reservations.
