Hi,

I am going to travel through france soon and I wanted to know, if I just can take a later train, if I couldn’t catch my initial connecting train. Do I have to add this train to my interrail pass then?

Also What happens to the reservation of the original train, is it possible to get a refund?

You should normally add the trains you use to your pass in the app.

If you think you're going to miss a connecting train, speak to the staff, already in your first train. They should normally advise that to do. Normally, your reservation is changed to the next connection without any costs, often at the station where you change. The railways are always obliged to propose an alternative without extra costs.
