I am trying to book some private compartments for my hubby and I to travel.
I noticed on several sites, they say you can reserve 180 days in advance.

But when i go look, that’s only for basic seats. Couchette/private compartments seem to be only available much much closer to the date.

Is there some trick around this?

I am trying to book various euronight and nightjet trains between vienna > warsaw > prague

180 days is the ideal date for most night trains but often it's less than that, due to works or due to shorter booking windows depending on the company.

Munich - Vienna - Warsaw has some known booking issues due to the Polish booking system/website being old and incompatible. Most of the time it works on nightjet.com or tickets.oebb.at (but not right now it seems).

Warsaw - Prague will be on cd.cz around 2 months in advance.

The only thing you can do is check regularly.

Trains from/to Poland can only be booked 60 days in advance.
