Why is Igoumenitsa not a valid destination?

Hello guys :)
I want to book my first pass here in eurail.
I want to visit Igoumenitsa in Greece. I searched the map and Igoumenitsa is listed as the destination.
However, I cannot specify Igoumenitsa as a destination in the travel times section (no trains are found).
Are there any tricks to reach Igoumenitsa anyway with a Global pass?

The algorithm found a route to Bari. I would need a ferry than to reach Igoumenitsa. Do I have to book the ferry then spontaneously? When “yes”, can I be sure, that my Europass is counting for the ferry?

Thanks for your help in advance!

Thank u very much, that helped for my planning.
But I have one question more.
E.g. when I tried to go from Munich to Greece by train through middle Europe (not through Italy), I can’t find routes in the Train-Time-Finder.
Do u know, why that is?

The problem is that the trains Belgrade - Skopje -Thessaloniki or Sofia -Thessaloniki are not in Service due the pandemic :/

Igoumenitsa  have no rail connection :/ You can take bus or take a ferry.

Some Ferries are for “free” with a Railpass (you have to pay porttax) and for the comfort upgrade

Others offer a discount

Eurail Benefit Page about ferries :)
