I would like to ask you if someone was in Lapland (Rovaniemi) and attended a aurora hunt tour. Is it possible to do it by yourself (like to go the places by yourself?). Moreover, if someone attended a tour which would you recommend and what was the best and worst experience of it?

If you want to travel by train to Lapland it is easier to go to Sweden than to Finland from Germany.
Riksgränsen is easy accessible by train. The skiing season starts at the end of February.
