The train arrives past midnight in Berlin. Do I need to keep one travel day for the the journey taking place after midnight ?
I just read online about rules for nightlines
Grateful for any Auswers,
Cheers,
Leonard

The rule is quite simple - A travel day covers all trains boarded before 2359 CET, irrespective of what time you leave the train (Except the very last day your pass expires when you have to leave the train by 2359).
So if you boarded the train to Berlin before 2359 you do not need an extra travel day. If you need to change trains after midnight then you will need an extra travel day.
