I understand one can only reserve the Bosphorus Express at Istanbul’s two train stations. Even if we can only arrive to the station on the day, is it almost certain that there will be places for us. And are all tickets sold on this train for beds (we want to make sure any night trains we go on have beds to sleep in instead of just sitting) How many people are usually in each cabin?

Until now, I've only read reports that the through coach Istanbul - Bucharest was far from full. IIRC, it has couchette compartments with 4 berths.
