Need to reserve seats on 9am Budapest to Ljubljana train on 1st August.
it says on ÖBB no ticket available?

They should be available from 60 days in advance through https://www.cd.cz/en/default.htm
Really appreciate your reply. That’s reassuring. I was worrying it wasn’t running and I think there is only one main train to Ljubljana from Budapest each day.

Do I use the website you mentioned to also reserve seats Ljubljana to Vienna 8th August. Or ÖBB like other reservations I have made?

Both websites are totally fine and cost the same (3€ per seat). I don't know why ÖBB doesn't offer the Budapest - Ljubljana train... who knows!
