Depends on Country and train
Each Railcompany have own rules you have to check them at their websites. Often if the dog fit´s in a transportbox it counts as “luggage” and is for free
Bigger dogs often travel for the price of a child or even have a own ticket category but as said it depends from Country to Country and train to train.
