In augustus im going on my first solo trip. To Dresden, Prague, Vienna and Düsseldorf. Are there any apps that are good to have? Or places i should avoid or go to?

Use DB Navigator app for timetables, delays, etc.
Düsseldorf isn't the most interesting German city. You could stop in Munich after Vienna maybe but that's up to you. :)
Otherwise consider another Czech city than the overcrowded Prague: Brno is one of them.

I would say Düsseldorf isn’t that bad. It is less touristy than Dresden and Co. and has a lot of nice bars.
for apps: maps.me has been good but now it is too much money-centered. Maybe someone has a good and free alternative?
