Does the 22-day pass require me to ride the train continuously for 22 days?

You're not required to take a train every day but yes it is valid during a 22-day consecutive period.
Thank you for answer. So there is no limit to the number of times per day. And for example, when I go from Naples to Bari, I don't think there is a single route to take. Do I have to transfer three or four times to get there?
