How far in advance can you see prices and book? I want to work out if it’s cheaper for me to get Eurail passes or just buy individual sectors between Zurich, Salzburg, Vienna, Prague, Krakow and Berlin.
Also to assess if it’s worth upgrading for business or first class seats compared to regular seats.

There is a timetable change on December 14th, 2025 and it is usually not possible to book early, I would say 2-3 months in advance. In November you have often a Black Friday sale and Eurail passes are cheaper, last year 25% discount. You can search other dates in the future to have an idea of the prices. Saver Tickets are more expensive during peak times (holidays).
