Looking for advice ! My daughter and I are traveling in Aug by train

Paris to Bordeau

then

nice to Paris

and a few quick trains around nice for a few days.

we are from Canada would the 4 day pass be worth it for us ? The prices I’m seeing for single one way train rides are very high like $200-$400 usd per train one way.

I’m just concerned we won’t find our needed itinerary if I do purchase the single country 4 day pass.
Any help would be great from someone who has used the service :)

Thanks so much 😊

You can look up regular prices for France on https://www.sncf-connect.com/ and compare with a pass plus reservations (€10 or €20 for TGV and IC with mandatory reservations).

Which dates you’re looking for exactly? Where did you look for prices?

It depends what’s worthwile, best also look into a carte avantage.

I see plenty of prices of 40-50-60 EUR per person for Paris-Bordeaux without discount… Nice is more expensive, you can easily save 60-70 eur per ticket by buying a carte avantage.

The carte avantage can slash prices quite dramatically, and your daughter can enjoy the benefits too. It has some restrictions though, and it mostly pays off when travelling in or around weekends. More info: https://www.sncf.com/en/passenger-offer/mainline-cards-fares/avantage-adulte-card
