I'm new to interrailing but am planning to interrail in August 2024 with the first leg of my trip being from London to Paris on the Eurostar on 2nd August. This will obviously be a very busy booking period due to the Olympics. Does anyone have any tips for booking please? It is all totally new to me. Thanks!

Reservations for Eurostar are currently open up to 24 July, so it’s possible they will open up for your date in the next few weeks. Keep checking. And book as soon as you see availability.
You’re right that it will be busy around the Olympics, and it can’t be guaranteed that they will have many - if any - pass holder fares. But if I had to guess, I’d guess they will still be pass holder availability.
I would also imagine longer queues and stringent security. As well as very high hotel prices of course.
