Alguien me puede hacer el favor de decirme si puedo reservar asientos desde la aplicación móvil y si tengo que activar el pase para poder realizarlas ?

You can't book reservations in the rail planner app. The app can only forward to some of the websites where you can book.
You don't have to activate your pass to be able to make reservations.
