Hi all, trying to book my son and his friend tickets from Paris Gare Du Nord to St Pancras and I am being offered an option of the TGV to Lille, as opposed to a route that takes them directly from Paris to London.

Is this an option I can select? How tricky is it to change at Lille to catch the Eurostar? Thanks in advance.

Where are you being offered such an option ?
If on the Railplanner app you can select “Direct trains only” as a filter.
The only reason you would change in Lille for a Paris London journey, is if there were no passholders reservations left on the direct trains.

Lille Flandres to Lille Europe is a 15 min change by foot, but you’d need to factor in check-in at the eurostar terminal there (45 min before your train departs)
