Hello! Looking for some advice/help.

 

Me and my partner are planning on traveling from tirano to Milan on Tuesday 7th January. On Google maps and eurorail planner it doesn't seem to show this as an option (in January but it does show for December) and instead routes back over the Alps and via the mainline railway.

On the Italian train websites it shows services available. 

Just wanted to check are these services running in January?

 

 

To verify timetables, you check the operator’s website. In Italy, www.trenitalia.com is good.

The Eurail website, the rail planner app (or Google) should not be used to verify timetables. They're incomplete, often out of date and generally unreliable, especially the rail planner app.
