I am arriving in the evening 10th july in Bari.

The next day I take the ferry to Patras. Do I need to put in a travel day on the 11th with the ferry, since I didn't use my interrail pass to get a discount on the ferry? I paid for a cabin without any interrail discount.

I will again use a travel day on the 12.th where I arrive in the morning, and travel from Patras to Pireaus.

Is that ok? Or does the travel need to be continuous?

The x days in x month rule for as flexi pass wouldn’t make any sense if the travel days had to be continuous. That’s why a continuous pass does exist, too. 😀

So there’s no problem at all to do it that way. But it might have been cheaper to use your interrail pass for the crossing?

Depending on how many pass days you have left, it may not be a good use of one of them just for the trip to Piraeus - it’s just 17 € for the train / bus combo.

Yes I understand, I think I mean if it is a problem, I dont take up the travel from Bari, but jump to Patras and take it up from there?

The discount for the crossing and a cabin was small, I used early booking instead.

And I continue my travel from Pireaus.

No, it's no problem. Totally ok to do as planned in your original posting.
