I would to ask if it's possible to buy a pass today and use it already tomorrow on the app? Has anyone done it?
(I wanted to purchase a deutsche bahn card a month ago and even if they said you could use it right away on the app, it could first be used for travel at least 5 days later, so looking to avoid that exact same situation)

Sure that's possible. I've done that multiple times. You can buy a paper version from a ticket office or a mobile version online. Leave at least an hour before your train leaves, since mail has to arrive (although the pass number will also be visible in the order overview online) and you have to activate it.
[A BahnCard should also be available immediately after ordering online. You normally receive a PDF immediately after buying it, which you can then print. No idea though how long it takes before it is visible in the app.]
