Benelux-Interrail-Pass: Does it help to save money?

Hello everybody,

has anybody already made experience of traveling with the Benelux-Interrail-Pass? I am thinking about it and would be grateful to hear about your experience. We (one adult, one young person and a child with a free Interrail Pass) would be staying in the Netherlands for a week an travelling mostly in Zuidholland (also to Noordholland) and would be going to Belgium for a day. We would start our journey in Switzerland.

Another idea is to get the Global Pass to begin our journey with.

Would the Interrail-Pass save some money? Or are ticket prices in the Netherlands cheaper than the Pass?

Thank you very much for any information in advance.

Without knowing where you'll go, it's impossible to say whether it will save money.

Look up ticket prices for the Netherlands on ns.nl.

Look up prices for a trip to Belgium on nsinternational.com (it's usually cheaper if you book at least 7 days in advance).

Advance tickets on bahn.de can be quite cheap : search from your starting station in Switzerland (it even works from Tirano, St. Moritz and such) to your destination. I saw someone buying a 30€ ticket Tirano - Brussels if I remember correctly.

I can’t help whether a Benelux pass is worth it or not

Thank you very much altogether.
