Hello,

Do the Eurail Pass needs to be activated in order to use Bernina Express? Or as long as we hold a Eurail Pass we can use Bernina Express pass with seat reservation? Could someone confirm on this please?

Thank you

Yes you can use the Bernina Express with an Eurail Pass, you need a reservation for most carriages. You can use the Bernina Express in the front part of the train (no panorama windows, but sometimes you can open the window) without reservation, or you use one of the hourly trains on the route (without reservation), most of the trains has windows that you can open.

Yes, you need to have a valid pass to travel on the Bernina Express. And that means you have to activate a travel day.

You can also use normal trains (they run every hour) and then you don't need a seat reservation, just a valid pass.
